The Sprint may be our shortest distance race, but it’s still a favorite amongst both new and returning racers. It’s the perfect distance for those looking to start their Spartan journey. The Sprint also allows returning racers a manageable distance to see how far they fan push themselves. Delivering 20-23 obstacles over 3-5 miles, you'll never run the same race twice. Once you complete the sprint you are 1/3 on your Spartan TRIFECTA: The ultimate Spartan achievement.

I have never heard of Spartan Race – what is it?

A Spartan is not your average race! While you are certainly familiar with everyday run-of-the-mill road races, the Spartan Race is like their adventurous, adrenaline-junkie friend who thrives on excitement. Not only will you be running, climbing, and crawling across some of the most gorgeous terrain the world has to offer, but you’ll also get to splash through mud, tackle many unique and challenging obstacles, test your overall strength, balance, mental tenacity and endurance, and finish with a fiery leap of victory! It’s probably one of the most exciting, invigorating and thrilling ways you can choose to spend your weekend.

Waves of 200 athletes will be released every 15 minutes across 2 groups (Elite and Morning).

Racers: If you want to race for a prize, show up for the elite heat.

BUILD A TEAM: Strength comes in numbers.

Callout your friends, co-workers and loved ones to get off the couch and into the mud.

Whether they’re helping you over the wall or chasing you up the mountain, make sure they’re with you at the starting line.

Teams can be any size but must have at least 4 members to be included in the team rankings.

TEAM REGISTRATION

The best way to ensure that you are starting at the exact same start time as your friends is to create a Team during registration (or have your friends Join your team!).

Any racers that are registered as part of a team, on the SAME DAY in the SAME TIME BLOCK (Elite vs. Morning vs. Afternoon), will be moved to the common team start time in each block when start times and bib numbers are assigned (about 10 days prior to the event).

Team times are NOT determined by the captains start time. Team members will be grouped together within each block (Elite, Morning OR Afternoon), based on the preferred time that the majority of team members in that block choose.

Racers that are registered for Elite or Morning start times will NOT be grouped with racers in the Afternoon start times or vice versa.

For more detailed team information please see: 2016: Team Registration and Start Times.

PARKING: AVAILABLE, BUT LIMITED.  CARPOOLING IS ENCOURAGED.

Let's decrease our carbon emissions. Space is available, but limited.

SPECTATORS: Bring your friends and family. (Your biggest fans)

Bring your friends and family to the race to watch you conquer obstacles, dominate the finish line and receive your medal!

All racers will receive two complimentary spectator pass.  Each additional spectator pass will be $5.  Extra spectator passes can be purchased onsite at the spectator tent.

Kid size obstacles. Spartan size hearts.

Why should adults have all the fun? Bring the kids (ages 4-13) who can participate in their very own Spartan race.

Our mission is to inspire children to develop a love for fitness at an early age. We provide safe, age appropriate obstacle course race venues to build participant confidence, while enjoying a thrilling outdoor activity. We encourage kids to jump, run, get muddy, help each other and have a good time, while conquering obstacles that mimic the adult race.

Kids aged 4-13 | 1 mile

4-7 do only 30% of it, the 8-11 do 70% and 12-14 do all of it. If your kid is capable enough the kids race, manager will encourage them to do another lap.

Kids Race Start Times: Friday - 10am10:30am, 11am

Each child will receive a T-shirt and Finisher's Medal.

Kids Registration and check-in day of the event closes at 11am on Friday so please be early.
